Session Planning

Planning sessions before training helps maximise use of the time available and also make the sessions more enjoyable and beneficial for the student athlete.
This unit covers the four parts to the planning process while also covering how Mentor Coaching plays a big role in our approach to coaching education.
The course will outline a typical session which starts with Goal Setting and concludes with review, feedback and reflection which sets the goals for the next session.
This course will introduce two documents.
The Session Plan template, which is a hard document which can be in a digital form or in printed form.
